Well, it's been a while (as in several months) since my birthday :). Being 15 doesn't feel much different than being 14.
School is done for the month of May, but that actually means that our break is almost over! Time goes so fast! I'm going to CYIA in a little over a week which is SO exciting. I've been looking forward to it pretty much since last year's CYIA ended. I'll be sending out a prayer request email this week, so keep an eye out!
This weekend, we are going camping with another family at a lake called Wilson Lake. Mom said she heard it doesn't have trees, which is hard for me to imagine. I've never been camping in a place that's not the middle of the forest! Sam has never been camping ever, and Olivia was just learning to walk the last time we camped, so she doesn't remember it. I think it'll be really fun!
I've been working on some creative writing projects this week (stories), and I now remember how much I enjoy it. Sometimes the hardest part of something is just getting it started. Also, I reread the book
Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris. Definitely recommend it! It's written for teens, but I think anyone could learn something from it.
I'll be sure to post some pictures of our camping trip after we get back!
